We all know how it is. You fly into a new country either to holiday or to settle. If you are like me, you’re not always in the mood to read the 3 books you brought with you so you spend X amount of minutes (hours) in the supermarket or news agency trying the pick the one magazine that will suit your exact taste and needs. Most of the time it doesn’t work out and you’ve wasted £5+/$10+, and thats if you only bought 1 magazine.

This is where I come in. I really enjoy a good magazine. And no, the TV Week does not count. I’m talking about the type of magazine that does 1 of the following things (or all 3 if you’re lucky):

a) Inspires me

b) Has fantastic content thereby giving me great value for money

c) Makes me feel GOOD about myself and HAPPY with who I am (very important in this day and age)

Having lived in the UK, Australia and holidayed in the States, I have gathered a small list of my favourite publications from each of these places to share with you. I’m not saying they will suit everyones taste but they’re all certainly worth a peek.
